Water Damage – East Phoenix Home

Water damage began at this East Phoenix home when a water supply line carrying potable water above the ceiling started to leak. The leak ran along the pipe and deposited water down the wall and the frame of the doorway. There was water damage to the ceiling, drywall, and trim work. SERVPRO of East Phoenix would begin this project with a comprehensive damage assessment report and a step by step plan to remediate the damages. When damages like this are encountered, we would remove all of the damaged building materials and dispose of them properly. The damaged pipe would then be repaired. Any standing water would be suctioned up. Then the ceiling and other wet surfaces would be dried with the use of industrial air movers and dehumidifiers. All of the affected areas would be treated with an antimicrobial agent to prohibit any potential mold growth. Finally, new drywall and trim would be installed.
